Tetra Tech NUS, Inc. Selects ENI’s customized procurement platform

September 7, 1999—Tetra Tech NUS, Inc. is pleased to announce the selection of ENI-Net, an on-line procurement platform. It is an extranet based, scalable, comprehensive, interactive, on-line environmental procurement platform, which will connect Tetra Tech NUS’ Procurement Professionals and Project Managers in sixteen offices with the sellers of environmental services, supplies, and equipment.

Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, ENI is a leading supplier of client-server based procurement tools for the environmental industries’ automated, large scale, paper- and data-intensive procurement processes.

Tetra Tech NUS, Inc. (www.tetratech.com) is a leading provider of environmental consulting services, focusing on cost-effective and sustainable solutions to environmental and natural resource management problems. Tetra Tech NUS investigates site-specific pollution problems, develops and implements pollution prevention strategies, and negotiates solutions with regulatory agencies. In addition, Tetra Tech NUS provides turnkey remedial design and remedial construction capabilities.

The base monthly fee for a vendor to be listed in the ENI-Net system/database is $30.00. Tetra Tech NUS believes that vendors may directly offset this cost by reduced marketing costs to Tetra Tech NUS and other companies currently using ENI-Net, and other costs associated with documentation/vendor profile updates. As an incentive for Tetra Tech NUS’ vendors to join ENI-Net, Tetra Tech NUS has negotiated with ENI to waive an initial set up fee, along with providing basic listing through December 31, 1999, at no cost for simply filling out an on-line survey. The survey is designed to help Tetra Tech NUS learn about vendors’ computer software and hardware requirements and capabilities so Tetra Tech NUS can better coordinate efforts with ENI. By completing the survey, vendors will save $270.00. In addition to current Tetra Tech NUS vendors, Tetra Tech NUS is inviting all environmental vendors who wish to participate to fill out the survey and realize the negotiated cost savings.

If you are interested in ENI-Net and want to take advantage of the Tetra Tech NUS cost savings, please complete the Tetra Tech NUS/ENI survey and list your company no later than October 15, 1999. Tetra Tech NUS/ENI Survey.
